Slow Cooker Magic: 3 Ingredients + Beef = The Easiest, Tastiest Meal Ever

Sometimes the best recipes are the simplest ones — and this slow cooker beef dish proves it. With just raw cubed beef and three basic ingredients, you’ll have a meal so tender and flavorful, it tastes like it took hours of effort (but your slow cooker does all the work!).

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs raw beef, cut into cubes
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Place the raw cubed beef directly into your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over the meat.
  3. Pour in the cream of mushroom soup and the beef broth.
  4. Stir gently to coat the beef in the mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours (or HIGH for 4–5 hours), until the beef is fork-tender.

Serving Ideas

  • Spoon it over mashed potatoes for a rich, hearty dinner.
  • Serve with egg noodles or rice to soak up the creamy gravy.
  • Pair with roasted veggies or a simple salad for a balanced meal.

Why It Works

The combination of onion soup mix and cream of mushroom soup creates a savory gravy while the beef broth adds depth. The slow cooker tenderizes the meat perfectly, giving you a melt-in-your-mouth dish with almost no effort.
